  • 2016 CEU Information
    • The following states recognized the Private Practice Section (PPS), an APTA Component, as an approved provider of continuing education for this conference: AL, CT, FL, GA, ID, LA, MA, MI, MN, MO, MS, ND, OR, RI, SC, and VA.
    • This activity has been approved for 1.45 CEUs (14.5 CCUs/Contact hours).
    • This conference is certified by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT) for a maximum of 29.0 contact hours/ CCUs and accordingly accepted by the physical therapy regulatory boards/agencies in certain U.S. jurisdictions. FSBPT's ProCert certification is currently accepted by AL, AR, AZ, CA, DC, DE, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, OR, SC, TN, UT, VA, VT, WI, and WY.
    • The following states do not require preapproval of continuing education: HI, IN, ME, SD, and WA. Some states accept PPS courses as meeting continuing education requirements for licensees.
    • This activity has been submitted to the following states for approval: MD and OK.
    • All online evaluation must be completed by December 19, 2016, to receive continuing education credits for this activity. After the deadline, there will be a $25 late processing fee.

Administrators Certificate Program

PPS is pleased to offer, once again, our certificate program designed specifically for Physical Therapist Owned Private Practice Administrators.

The six (6) modules are:

  1. Billing and Coding
  2. Legal Compliance
  3. Human Resources
  4. Business Planning
  5. Marketing & Customer Service
  6. Business & Financial Management

Upon completion of all 6 modules, attendees will qualify to take the Administrators Certificate Exam. Exams will be administered via email after the conference and certificates will be recognized by the Private Practice Section of APTA.

Modules are open to all conference registrants. Only those wishing to sit for the certificate exam are required to take all six (6) modules. No preregistration for the certificate program is needed.

**NOTE: The first modules starts on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 12:30 pm - this session DOES NOT require an additional registration fee**

Cancellations and Refunds

All cancellation requests must be made in writing. A fee of $75 will be assessed if cancellation is received on or before September 15, 2016. There will be no refunds for failure to attend or cancellations postmarked after September 15, 2016. If you are unable to attend, a fee of $25 will be assessed to change the name on your conference registration.

Practice Administrators

Please Note: If you are a PT working as a practice administrator, you must register in one of the PT registration categories above, regardless of the position you hold within the practice.

Pre-Conference Workshops

Registration for the Pre-Conference Workshop is an additional fee. Attendance is limited. We strongly encourage early registration to guarantee your place.

PPS 2016 Conference Content, Online Access: $250

Following the conference, you can revisit sessions online 24/7 from the presentations as audio recordings synchronized to PowerPointâ„¢ slides (if PowerPoint is used). This content is the best way to keep up with your education, and can even be used as a valuable teaching tool to share with colleagues who may have missed the conference. Purchase your online content now, the price will increase if you wait to buy this onsite. Online content includes all recorded sessions except Pre-Conference Workshops.

Group Discounts

Registration Policies

Registrants must adhere to the categories listed for registration to submitted and if the category a registrant selects does not match, a PPS staff member will be in touch with the registrant to discuss the difference in payment due. Registration Fees for PTs, Practice Administrators and Students include:
